The Pheasants are Revolting
Continuing my 'wildlife in the garden' theme... Five adult pheasants were strutting around the garden this morning, flicking leaves, stabbing little treats in the lawn with their beaks, strutting around with an air of importance. Three of them moved into the Nasturtium beds and had a feast on the soft seeds while this one supervised the goings on. While they sucked seeds the Woodcock was under a fir tree eating worms.
I can't think why all this wildlife has chosen our garden? MrsDB wonders if it is because she used John Innes Compost this season. Stupid woman. I may get her to pose in the garden tomorrow for my Wednesday Wildlife Blip.
