this is Adam and Robbie's middle child. they hosted another fun and enjoyable art party tonight--the third thursday in the burgeoning tradition. sampled some sweet and fruity beers. and saw some friends that I haven't seen for a while, since I've been detached from the ole' FB for almost two weeks now (and haven't group ridden to speak of in just as long, if not more). so, it was nice to see people (and their kids); plus, the evening actually dipped below ninety degrees, or at least it felt that way on account of the slumbering humidity. i'll take it!

Leah is out at the library burning the midnight oil for her exam tomorrow. bless her heart--she is still feeling crummy but she's amazing for pushing through. i hope she gets some great sleep tonight--she needs and deserves it.

tomorrow: finish up the syllabus (c'mon Brian, you got this! fuck) and then to Kathryn's going-away/birthday/bike-in movie party. Sunday she's off to Austin for school, work, living.
