Old Man

We were driving down an undeveloped (read: no pavement) road from Bodie. The rock formations were stunning. The fungi growing on some of the rocks were brilliant green and orange.

This particular formation reminded me of the lost Old Man of the Mountain in New Hampshire.

The trip included upsetting a cow on the open range and finally sighting a doe and her fawn. Oh, and the on and off rain that kept all the dust down!
