standing guard

One of a pair of lions standing guard over the entrance of new flats in the grounds of an old school ( which also housed daughters first nursery).

I rather liked the raised paw - looks more like shielding than a fighting stance - hopefully tonight we wont be shielding our eyes from election results as they come in.
