Always remembered!

A emotional day for our first visit to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. We were there for a poignant tribute to my Uncle Jim which was planted alongside thousands of other remembrance poppies (see extras) He was my mothers eldest brother and although I never met him, through my mother I knew him well! She spoke of him often and always in such glowing terms, they were very close and she missed him terribly! He is one of over 20,000 men and women from air forces of the British Empire who lost their lives in WW11 and have no known grave!!
