An impromptu meal out with the kids tonight. Matthew is stopping over on his way from somewhere to goodness knows where and Rosina sent a message saying she had received good news at work. That's about all the excuse I need.

What a waste of time at the hospital. 2 hours to be told that the blood test results hadn't been received yet and the doctor asked me two questions and said 'good, see you in six months'. No examination at all. What does he get paid for?
