Last Orders

A few days away, out of the way with the pups, I called in on route to the Courtyard Dairy - (heaven for cheeselovers).

Amongst my haul for the week was the last order of Capra Nouveau - Sarah Hampton after 6 or 7 years of producing this from her small flock of Saaneen Goats in Shropshire is retiring from cheesemaking, this is the last delivery.

The rind washed with her own made cider and in the manner of some Alpine goats cheeses it is exceptional. I note that the shelf life is 2 weeks - LOL, it lasted 2 days before it was gone.

Even the best things pass and we do well to celebrate and enjoy whilst we have them, and not wait until the threat of loss to notice joy.
