Harvesting carrots part II

After my first day of making a serie about the harvest of carrots (see nov. 1st) i tried again today. After a foggy start, the clouds slowly disappeared and the sun peeped over the fields. 

In an amazing high speed the carrots where pulled out of the heavy clay and left in big wooden crates the farmland. With 1 harvester and five tractors all the 13 acres of carrots were grubbed in about 2 and a half day.

I filmed and took a lot of pictures on this perfect day. I'll be busy the next weeks, but i'm gonna try to publish my reportage and film around the end of november.
