Together at last

See, I went back to work 10 days ago. Arriving in the middle of term meant I had grading to do that was leftover. So for the past 10 days, I've been grading non-stop and Oli had to spend more time with grandma than usual. I finished Sunday night at 9, and promptly drove to get him finally home.

This is Monday. When I picked him up from daycare, he kept looking at me as if we'd been apart for a long time. And the evening was spent with plenty of cuddles, kisses, games and hand holding.

Things will be better now, my love. (They never said that work/family life balance was going to be easy... and it isn't)
