Unplanned Days = Best Days

Today was planned as a "recuperation" day, I don't think any of us realised quite how tired we were.
I vaguely recall Clare getting up around 8:30 and saying that she and Joshua would be going to Lake Puddingstone with Janet to watch the launch of the family boat and have a trip around the lake.
After what seemed like another thirty minutes I thought I'd get up, it was in fact 10:45. After a shower I sat and chatted to John over coffee for a couple of hours after which Clare, Janet and Joshua returned.
We then set off for Huntington Beach with the dogs, Patrick and Bodhi, to meet Ron and Kate with their dogs Snickers and Rocky. Clare, Sam, Josh and I were dropped off at the shops at Huntington Beach where we had a quick look round before walking out on Huntington Pier and back.
We then set off northwards along Huntington Beach to meet everybody else. We met on the 'Dog Section' of the beach and over the next three hours had a great time in the water, playing with the dogs and 'body' surfing.
The photo in today's Blip is possibly one of the best I have ten with my I-phone, it shows Samantha and Joshua playing in the sand on Huntington Beach with the sun setting behind them.
We are now back at Grizzly Towers, we have had smoked pork, hot dogs, salad etc a beer and we are now ready for bed.
Another great day.
