The teddy looks happy but does not realise that he's about to be thrown out. Regrettably I had to throw out several packs and boxes of out of date chocolate today. As my mother is on a very restrictive diet due to great difficulty swallowing she is unable to eat any that visitors have very kindly given during the last year. Today has not been easy for her with yet another hospital visit and it seems only matter of time before she gives up her struggle and wish to be near her husband of 73 years. Meanwhile in his confused state my father wants to know how he can help to make her better, not realising how ill she is.
