A Day at the Races

We were so lucky to get a fine day for the NZ Trotting Cup. The wind was cold but apart from that is it was a sunny day.

I couldn't get down any steps to sit in the front. It was hard to get any really good shots with my little travel camera because we had a lady in front of us ..you can see her in the green hat.. Every time I went to take a shot she would move and the feathers would get in my shots.

It was a good days out. John came home with more money than he went with and I broke even. To end the day we went out for a meal.
