Lunchtime

This student brought his own lunch. I joked that he had been Americanised, and he agreed: "My children have got me eating PBJs". When I looked confused he explained: "Peanut Butter and Jelly".

I, by contrast, went and had a burger with fries in the canteen. They're not American at all, originating from a German town. And this evening I crossed the road and went to Saffron where I had a very fine veggie paneer curry.
