Day 313 of 366 - Historic Bayley Lane!

The image for today was taken earlier this evening in the heart of the Cathedral Quarter that lies in Coventry City Centre. The view that can be seen here is one of the most historic in the centre of Coventry. There are numerous listed buildings together in this view looking down Bayley Lane. Clockwise from the left side of the image are part of the Ruins of the Grade I listed Old Cathedral of St Michael. Next part way down the lane towards the centre of the picture is the Grade I listed St Mary's Guildhall. Finally on the far right side of the image is a Grade II* listed Tudor cottage.

The photo was taken using the app KitCam on my iPhone 6.

First I used the app Snapseed to edit the photo. I Cropped and Straightened the image and applied the Tonal Contrast filter. I then boosted the Contrast, Saturation, Ambiance, Shadows and Warmth, as well as decreasing the Highlights. Finally I used the healing feature to clean up the lamppost by deleting the sign from about halfway up. Next I used the app Brushstroke to apply the Gloss G1 painterly preset. I also changed the canvas style to Particle. Finally I used PhotoToaster to add the Warm preset and a Medium Dark Vignette. I then applied the Stucco texture and the Shadow II frame.
