It's more obvious on the side of the road I was on with some cars sporting white roofs and bonnets. Perhaps I should have crossed the road and taken a photo from that side. 

Here, I can see from my kitchen window that Wansfell has a covering of snow but at low level it's drizzly. I'm not venturing any further today.
