The Great Pretender

How in the name of God did THIS happen?

This evil, loathesome lump of human tissue is now to be the President of the United States of America? 

A big headed bigoted braggart is the leader of the 'Free World'?  A man who sees women only as vehicles for carrying his progeny, or being the focus of his unwanted attentions; who swore the election was being 'rigged'; who said he would not concede to Hillary Clinton in the event of her beating him.  He has insulted Mexicans, Moslems, and anyone else who does not fit his profile of worthiness.

He has hoodwinked the American electorate - just as ours were hoodwinked by the Brexiteers - with loud and extravagant promises of how great he will make everything, with absolutely no evidence of how he is going to fulfil these promises.  And all the while he has the highest disregard for them, no doubt laughing himself silly today at all the fools who believe he is a self-made man with a great love for his country.

I honestly think we are now heading toward a whole new world, and I'm not really keen on the journey.
