When I was at The Polish Bar last night, I was reminiscing about the lunch dish that I ate most often when I worked near it. Today, I made my own version – toasted cheese with Fruition's spicy tomato ketchup and sliced gherkins. Nom.

In the evening, I was still too full to have dinner with Sheila at Patisserie Valerie. I ordered a strawberry tart instead. We enjoyed a good natter and put the world to rights.
