Dark times

Everything was muted today. Colours, conversations , even footsteps. Or maybe I'm just numb. I'm certainly speechless, and worried for the Kid's future.

I was getting my chest X-rayed in Dunfermline this morning. Minor complication of a stubborn chest infection. Initially rather alarming, but I'm fairly confident everything's cool.
