The Tattooed Lady

So I did it! This is my beautiful swan tattoo!
It looks a little fuzzy as the skin is still a bit red around it, but it is absolutely gorgeous and I am so pleased.
It didn't hurt anywhere near as much as I thought it was going to and only took about 30mins.
It's symbolic in a number of ways:
- I live close to the Mere, where swans are plentiful and often blipped
- the whole ugly ducking thing, changed from middle aged stay at home frump, to pink haired adventurer.
- Flying, signifying that I am now free and loving soaring through life.

So I won't be having any more and the reaction at home is mixed, but I love it!
