Bob

I slept fitfully and woke around 5 am. I could see how the result of the US election was shaping up, but D was sleeping peacefully so I didn't wake him - he found out soon enough. I occupied myself with recalling how I'd felt during the Cuban missilie crisis.

I went up to the allotment although things were damp-ish, planted garlic (Early Purple Wight), spread some more seaweed compost, and stuck a few tulip bulbs in randomly about the place. I was very pleased to be joined for a while by young Bob, who pecked about in the earth I'd turned up whilst pulling up old bean plants.

The afternoon was running through old tunes and new song words.
