Day off today, so did housework speedily so I could have a quick cuppa and cake with Sue at Waitrose, and then met Pam and Bev, who also used to work at the same school. Then on to my parents to do a few chores and chat. Managed to get Dad out for a little walk down the garden path, and had a go at teaching Mum how to do word searches, she did not know what the words meant but she stayed focused for quite a while. Home to make soup for dinner.
A weird news day, the unthinkable keeps becoming reality, and I don't like it.
