Long and winding road

A later journey home and a dark and wet road ahead.
I love how the shadow falls on half the shoot but the light shines the way forward in the other half.
On a day when the country across the pond appears to have gone mad and when tragedy has struck my home town of Croydon in a truely awful way, this shot represents kind of how I feel tonight. Exasperated, saddened and a little afraid but trying to cling to the light that is out there somewhere that represents hope.
