Gold Star for Sophie!

I often travel on a long bus ride to and from work. On this journey the bus driver picks up teenagers and drops them off at three secondary schools.

Two of the schools are frequented by some good kids and some "Vicky Pollard" types who spend the journey throwing some choice language around at full blast and subjecting other passengers to a barrage of horrendous techno ringtones from their mobile phones (Crikey I sound old don't I).

The third school is frequented by the smartly dressed good kids who are polite, friendly and give their seats up for the elderly folks.

After a long wait, my niece Sophie found out today that she had been accepted into the third school. It's one of the best ones there are, and difficult to get into.

We're all so proud! Well done Sophie!
