My daughter's first (successful) attempt at Tunisian biscuits out of her recipe book. here
The short sticks are made of chickpea flour, butter and sugar, the round ones of wheat flour, oil, sugar, almonds and a pinch of cinnamon. They are called "Montecao". Delicious with mint tea indeed.
She says that it's a pleasure for her to enrich her vocabulary by associating the learning with another passion of hers, cookery. For us too, needless to say...
