Even the sky was sombre

Observing from afar (geographically, politically, philosophically, socially), it has been hard to comprehend either the why or the how of the US presidential election. If the US will now leave us alone (drop the TPPA; forget about sending nuclear warships to our ports; stop insisting that we do things they want done whether or not we agree), it may be possible to wait out the passage of this coming presidency.

Today was a beautiful spring day; warm, sunny and still. However, by the time I got home from work, the clouds had gathered and the only photo I took today is of a sombre sky trying to put on a bright face.
