This is a metaphor for this week's presidential election.
Strange to have our country called a democracy when
actually it is something else.  A democracy, in my opinion,
is one where the people's popular vote stands.  We have
an electoral college where each state plays by their own
unique rules.  Our forefathers thought the 'common" people to
be too ignorant or uninformed to make such decisions.  This
also preceded women's right to vote in 1920.  Thus, have
the people really chosen?  I am frightened for our country.
The world will have to watch this play out.
