Made a spag bol (it's garlicky!)
Sanded down our old chopping board and re-oiled it.
...and took the landy to landy hospital. (It'll take that climb easy in 1st I thought. I won't need low diff I thought. The clutch disagreed.)

So new clutch kit, master cylinder and a barrow load of other bits ordered. Way beyond my spanners' ability - so off to local Land Rover Guru Raymond (you need to take the gear box out and it weighs about half a tonne). I am getting a brand new land rover bit by bit. I suspect the only original part in six months time will be the paint. Raymond assures me I'll have another chance to break it come Tuesday!
