Enjoying the sunshine

A beautiful day and the birds were really enjoying it too. This female chaffinch had found a lovely sunny spot among the Autumn leaves.
I spent most of the day in the garden planting up the pots with Winter bedding plants. Richard even ate his lunch outside.
We went to B&Q as Mike needed a light socket so I had  look at the plants. All the bedding plants were half price so I picked up some real bargains including a hanging basket filled with colourful pansies for £4. Mike had a £5 voucher as well so even better.
Feeling quite cold outside now but tomorrow looks bright and cheerful.Looking forward to seeing David as he comes home from Skye in the afternoon.
