Trafalgar Square

I met up with my friend Aideen in London today and we went to the Picasso Portraits exhibition. This was great to see. I had no idea he had such a variety in his style. We saw caricatures, the cubist portraits, more traditional portraits in both pen and paint, sculptures and understood more about his influences. I always get a thrill in these situations at being so close to the work of a great artist. 
Then I had a very enjoyable train journey home with Robin who was in London  on a course. 
The fountains in Trafalgar Square caught my attention today and both the main shot and the extra feature the water.
