Pshycodellic Giraffes

Today was spent over in Geraldine at the big craft festival, Spent a couple of hours helping sell raffle tickets for the patchwork club. What absolutely fabulous work is on display.
This piece of patchwork was part of what they call the Hoffman Challenge, each year it is a different material of which some has to be incorporated into the challenge. Such creative people, truly awesome work and quilting.
It rained all day which was such a shame for the outside stalls but they soldiered on. In spite of the rain the crowds came  and seemed to be spending money. It goes on for another two days with live entertainment, food stalls etc.
I sat for a while sheltered from the rain and listened to a pipe band who also had to play in a tent. I love the pipes.  I bought their CD so am enjoying it at this moment.
