A grey old day all round

Today was Canterbury Show Day (Anniversary Day). It was not the happiest of days.  Kariba has had an allergic reaction to something that is making her eyes puffy and sore and we heard of Leonard Cohen's death which will make most of the family very sad especially Abby who was a big fan.

We did potter in the garden even though it rained on and off, that was good for body and spirit.  Heavy rain warnings in place.
