Remembrance.

After this morning's walk we went to M&S at Owlcoats and I was delighted that at 11.00 am everything stopped, even in the cafe and the lights were dimmed for two minutes of remembrance. All observed it in a most reverential way just as it should be. We must never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice and how young so many of them were.

The light this morning at about 7.30 am was astonishing. It was lighting up the leaves in the woods and and the trees across the fields when we emerged for our deer walk.
I thought this was also a fitting tribute for the 11th of the 11th.

As a bonus we did actually see deer. At least 3 stags and a group of very young roe deer hinds.
