Really wet in the Lakes today, so what better place to visit than Threlkeld Quarry and Mining museum - a photographers dream! The greatest collection of rust, peeling paint, cobwebs and old tools anywhere.

This is Ian - the owner's - dog, Jip; sitting on the footplate of "Sir Tom" the steam train that Ian restored from parts. I love her expression, almost saying "It's raining, I'm stuck here and I'm not going anywhere else.


Jip has the nicest nature of any dog I know.

The whole group had a great day and returned with a wonderful selection of pictures.
