SHORT-LIVED...

...the love affair with my new coffee-maker - I succeeded in pulling the handle off having closed it a bit too enthusiastically. The pathetic little rivets popped their clogs.

It did make brilliant coffee, but surely at €48.30 it should be up to a certain amount of BF&I (brute force & ignorance).

Took it downtown armed with the guarantee, the receipt & a decent amount of righteous indignation - only to find all the shops shut - it's Armistice Day n'est-ce pas?

Grrrrr!
