A slice of Lesley's life

Two tone dog

We have had a very good day. Jackson has played 5 games of table tennis and read 96 pages of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night.

I did some work but mainly caught up on all the household nonsense that gets ignored when the rest of the week is too intense. And mostly the work involved a long and fascinating phone call with one of my lovely American colleagues who is having difficulty adjusting to the results this week.

Anna had a good day at school and fun at her drama class. Oh and was very excited to learn that a poem she has chosen to learn for homework is written by a blipper - Bernard Young. Sorry, can't do links on the phone.

Albi may have spent most of the day disgustingly filthy but she had so much fun getting that way.

I had a seriously fabulous haircut.

And now a relaxing Friday evening listening to the dulcet tones of Carl and Jackson commentate to the football. If only we were on Gogglebox you could all share the joy.

In short, Friday beat Monday 100 gazwillion to nil.
