Every Man Remembered

Designed by artist Mark Humphrey, the 23ft high sculpture 'Every Man Remembered' has previously been exhibited in London and Cardiff  and remains in Glasgow's George Square until Sunday.
It depicts the brass figure of the Unknown Soldier standing on a block of limestone from the Somme, and is encased in glass with hundreds of poppies blowing around it every few minutes.

The statue is part of the four year campaign commemorating the centenary of the Great War, honouring all the servicemen and women who died.
