Ribbing

Keighley opens its Garden of Remembrance the Thursday before Remembrance Day so I nipped out from work to play the Last Post at the ceremony. I had also been invited to join the Veterans at Sainsbury's for lunch - provided by Sainsbury's for those veterans that collect for the Poppy Appeal across the town. After lunch we then went to the Knowle - a grade 2 listed house in Ingrow which is the local Funeral Director's to play the Last Post at the dedication and unveiling of a 'lest we forget' stone in their garden of Remembrance.

Back to work for the rest of the afternoon and then after tea went to the knitting group that I run. On the way the warning light that I was low on fuel came on so I went home via the supermarket so I could buy Friday's tea - been living out of the freezer and cupboards all week - and fill up with diesel when I saw this interesting ribbed jumper. Had to take a photo so I can remember how it looked . If there were more hours in the day I'd knit myself one!
