Mike's Orchid

Long story short- My husband's college roommate Mike arranged a  free  trip to Hawaii 35 years ago.  My husband was intrigued by orchids and we bought a few baby plants.  This was before orchids were everywhere, and it turned into a fabulous hobby for him. This is the one that started it all.  It hasn't bloomed in a few years but wow-- spectacular now.  We celebrate this in memory of our dear friend Mike.
