Not A Nibble

Fishermen (fisherwomen) have the patience of saints.  She seemed to be more caught up in her thoughts as she gazed over the calm, blue lake than trying to reel anything in, though.  I wondered if she would even notice a nibble on the submerged line since her rod was on the ground.

Her husband (extra #1) appears to be super relaxed as he baits his line. Even though he noticed me, he kept focused on the task at hand.  Their son (extra #2) was simply kicked back in the shade occupied with his (Pokémon?) cards.  It was nice to see him doing something other than playing with a phone...just being a kid.

There were plenty of people spending time at the lake on this Veteran's Day.  A sensational day to be out in the fresh air.
