Walking

A poor morning for walking. Fine drizzle, mist and low cloud. Every fifty yards I had to clean my glasses to be able to see where I was going. The outcome of walking round the base of Arnside Knott can be seen above.

For nine and a half years since miracle brain surgery allowed me to walk again I have measured my daily walk. The total now is over 14,000 miles. That is from Arnside to New Zealand.
For some years I used the App of a famous sports shoe manufacturer. When you got home a famous athlete would tell you how well you had done. But it became more and more complex to use and so I have switched to a straightforward App with just start and stop buttons.
