A little brightness

View from the window.
Only ventured out to pick up our usual Saturday Yorkshire Post.
The sun did appear, but only briefly.
Spent most of the afternoon in the kitchen. Baking a chocolate cake for our son's birthday tomorrow, and preparing our evening meal, which includes a pheasant, brought back from Norfolk.Cooked with a sausage and chestnut stuffing, and port.

Will be soon sat in front of the fire, with a glass of wine, and watching Strictly.

Just haven't caught up after being away.
Also hoping to post the rest of our Norfolk blips in the next couple of days, after I have tackled the pile of ironing!
