2000 blips!

Oh me, oh my! 2000 blips, who'd have ever thought it. Not me, not I! Ironically, I don't drink but these are a collection of wine alcoholic bottles collected as a result of gifts given over the years...but thought they reflected a blipday celebration. :-P

I began blipping way back when, as a university student in Wales and since then my blip journey has been just that. A journey. I've lived in Yorkshire, Birmingham and Northumberland, and attempted to capture these places through my photos. I have worked as a general dogsbody in a secondary school, trained to be a teacher and now teach my own class of little ones. Each vocation has provided blip opportunities and blip challenges alike - be it the classroom displays giving rise to a snap or the dark nights leading to daily searches to find something, sometimes anything, to photograph!

Life has changed so very much - from a university student unsure of who they were to a teacher making a little path for herself in the world. I've learnt the joy of simple pleasures and the importance of treating yourself (well, I'm learning that!).

It's been a pleasure to become part of such a loving, caring and warm community here on blip. It's a huge part of my life, a comfort on dark days and a friend through the computer screen. :-) Thank you all!
