Graysville Bridge
Some years ago the state inspected this structure and determined that until replacement of the span was complete school busses could not carry students over the water on this bridge. Local drivers solved the dilemma by having the children get off the bus, driving the empty bus across the bridge, then waiting on the other side for the kids to walk across (but not in step). Once the youngsters were back on board the trip resumed. No children were ever harmed using this method but the lack of side fences none the less bothered concerned parents.
After a few years of constant baggering, the people at the state road solved the problem by placing concrete barriers at each end.

But local kids still jump off into the swimming hole below in the summer.
