The Edge of the Wold

Mr Grumpy

Mr Grumpy the chaffinch perches wet and disconsolate in the birch tree which provides scant shelter from the pouring morning rain. Meanwhile his fuzzy Mrs is behind him. Both are wondering when the photographer fella is going to stop pointing that big lens at them, and let them get on with their breakfast at the feeder which is hanging in the shelter of the eaves.

It was a grey wet day, and I took precisely six photographs all day.

I have finally got round to backblipping the adventures of the tree fellas in the tree tops here. Sorry to the little fella and the bigger fella that this has taken me three weeks to do.
