Why did I come in here?

Unfair

This poor Goldfinch spent the night under the shed. It has succumbed to Trichomoniasis, a parasite that prevents the bird ingesting food or water. After a few days the bird will die, emaciated. They can be easily spotted as movement is minimal and they fluff themselves up to keep warm, so look like a fledgling amongst other birds.
How do you put one out of it's misery? Simply place the first and second fingers across the throat in a V, close them together and hold firm pressure for about 3 seconds. There is little resistance and the bird dies quickly.
A rotten way to start the day.
