And this is what sustains us through the chaos.  Thoughts of our boy  spending many happy hours in warm water, splashing, laughing, floating, kicking, and exercising without even realising he's doing it.  I mean, how can that much fun be called exercising?  :-))

Still a way to go before it's completed but having some of the lighting in place is a major step forward.  

Plastering and tiling next.  We had chosen a blue ceramic mosaic tile for the pool but it's not available so we were offered and alternative.  Same shades of blue but in a beautiful, iridescent glass mosaic.  Result!

A fun day today.  David and Kenny were playing golf so Ele and I tagged along to have lunch with them at the golf club.   After they headed off to play we had another cuppa, chatted for a while and debated where to go for coffee and cake.  We ended up at a usual haunt and had coffee and a scone but we blethered for so long that when we got back home, David and Kenny were back from the golf!

After David gave Alan his dinner, we debated what to do about ours.  Takeaway or eat out?   There's a newish local restaurant that we hadn't tried so David phoned them on the off chance they would have a table.  They were fully booked but said if we could be there within 10 minutes (it was just after 6pm) and out by 8pm then they could accommodate us.  Hahahahaha....dont think the four of us have ever never moved so fast!!  

So pleased we decided to go.  Got the best table in the house (beside the fire) fantastic food, service and a great atmosphere.   We'll definitely be back.   

Home by 8pm and settled in to watch Strictly.
