Leaky Plumbing

I swear there's a broken pipe somewhere in heaven, the rain is ridiculous! It's rained off and on now for 4 days, today being the steadiest.

We woke to the sound of drops pounding at the windows - I'll admit, I rise better when the sun's shining! The kids are even bummed... waking with moans and groans about how it'll never stop raining.

Despite today's weather, we have a lot to do. Colby and I will be going to the optometrist for eye exams, I have a hair appointment, and tonight we're celebrating Courtney's 13th birthday! (ugh, another "I'm Old" moment - where did those 13 years go?)

BJ's prediction is that I'll be coming home with a fancy new pair of spectacles....
