Sitting Pretty

As you can see it is rather overcast today with a little sun trying to break through.

I encountered this little fellow on a short walk this afternoon, he kindly posed for me for a while, then hopped about on the ground before flying off.

We have been watching the scenes at the Rememberance Parade today and it never fails to bring a tear to my eye.   So many new casualties of War to add to the long list of lost lives.
