What a waste

Bit of a cheat blip today in that I took this photo a couple of weeks ago. However I feel that it is appropriate to today.

The photo was taken in the Picton Reading Room in Liverpool.

It shows part of one shelf of many identical shelves each carrying, red volumes as shown here. Each volume records and lists war graves. It really is a sobering sight.
