THE DRIVER OF THE RACE...

...has to be the driver of the Safety Car who hardly aquaplaned at all!

 The F1 GP at São Paulo was very nearly a wash-out. In terms of hardware  it was carnage - many hundreds of thousands of £'s worth of high design  carbon fibre trashed all over the track.

Lewis Hamilton came through unscathed...

Would have preferred to have published a photo of the Shaggy Parasol mushrooms in my garden - but again the light was terrible.
